MH New Ticketing Deadline eff 27Jul10
Please be informed that Malaysia Airlines (MH) has introduced a new Auto Ticketing Time Limit for All MH Flight Services made effective on 27th July 2010.
The New Ticketing Time Limit is for bookings made effective 27th July 2010 and for travel date effective 27th July 2010 onwards.
For booking made prior to 27th July 2010, will carry the Old Ticketing Time Limit but if there are changes to the bookings, then the New Ticketing Time Limit will be automatically applied.

as removing inactive segments from PNRs, limiting usage of passive segments, and avoiding
churn (repeated booking and canceling of the same flight segments). The policy encourages
practices that contribute to a positive customer experience and keep inventory open to those
who need it.

MH - View PNR (26Sep09)
Recently, there were reported cases of confirmed segments being cancelled on MH host due to missing ticket number information / SSR TKNE.
To avoid inconvenience to the passengers, kindly verify the ticket number information is displayed in the MH host PNR after ticket issuance. This information can easily be verified via the MH PNR View on Worldspan.

The ability for travel agents to retrieve Airline PNR will help to ease operational issues and also minimize the number of enquires calls to airlines.

Dear Valued Customers,
This is a friendly reminder not to override the following data during ticket issuance
for any Airline Private Fare filed with an automated ticketing package, which has a
control on:
* Endorsement, Commission, Baggage, and Tour Code (IT/BT)
* Net Remit processing
* Access to Private Fares
Please be advised that you will only need CARRIER and FOP and remember not to use #IT.@IT in the ticketing entry as this will result in the removal of the Tour code. Failure to do so may result in receiving an ADM from the airlines.

Travelport 1P Viewtrip Small Enhancements (01Jul08)
1) HIGH LEVEL DESCRIPTION
The airline confirmation number will only reflect the Worldspan PNR record locator when a hosted-carrier (NW and multi-host participants) is displayed. When an airline Direct Response confirmation number is not present and the airline segment status is HK or MK, the text ‘Confirmed’ will be displayed; else it will be blank. The airline Direct Response number will continue to be displayed when present.
2) ELECTRONIC TICKET RECORD - CREDIT CARD
Instead of the text ‘Credit Card’, the Electronic Ticket Record will display as Form of Payment the masked credit card information as received in the XML response message; e.g. AX XXXXXXXXXXX1009
3) NAME FIELD ENHANCEMENT
When a dot (.) is present in the traveler name field it will be replaced with a space.
4) ELECTRONIC TICKET RECORD
The Electronic Ticket Record will be displayed regardless of the coupon status code and the current advisory message will be revised.

The June 1, 2008 IATA mandate of 100% electronic ticketing is approaching and Travelport has created a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document to help answer questions you may have concerning this initiative.

Auto MCO Print Suppression (15May08)
In support of the IATA “Simplify the Business” mandate for 100% E-ticket by 31May08, IATA paper and ATB2 stocks are being removed from all BSP agencies. The Automated MCO (supported by Resolution 725d) will be allowed to continue beyond 01Jun08 for an interim period until the globally recognised EMD is available for agency use.
As the IATA physical stock will not be available for a printed record, IATA has agreed that a paperless MCO transaction may be produced. All original functionality and transaction types will remain and can be used according to airline acceptance.Accordingly, all (OPATB2) coupon printing for the Auto MCO will be suppressed in the Worldspan system, with effect from 00:01gmt on 1st June 2008.
Electronic Ticketing - E-indicators (13May08)
In addition, we will begin adding interline agreements for carriers that are not Worldspan e-Ticket participants. An *E* will not append to the end of the segment of the non e-Ticket participant; however an e-Ticket can be issued when validating on a carrier that is an e-Ticket participant.
As the travel industry is aggressively moving towards 100% e-Ticket , Worldspan wants to remind our customers that an *E* appended to the end of the PNR segment is not mandatory before an e-Ticket can be issued.
