LONDON, United Kingdom — 20 October 2025 — Saudia, the national airline of Saudi Arabia, has renewed and expanded its long‑standing distribution agreement with global travel technology provider Travelport, announcing the integration of its New Distribution Capability (NDC) content into Travelport’s retailing platform, Travelport+.
The enhanced partnership will give travel agents worldwide access to Saudia’s full range of NDC‑enabled fares, ancillaries, and services through Travelport’s unified interface, enabling richer merchandising, personalized offers, and real‑time distribution. NDC, an International Air Transport Association (IATA) standard, modernizes how airlines distribute content, allowing for greater product differentiation and dynamic pricing across sales channels.
In a statement, Saudia’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Arved von zur Muehlen, emphasized the strategic importance of the collaboration: “Expanding our partnership with Travelport through NDC aligns with Saudia’s commitment to delivering greater choice and efficiency to our trade partners. This step also advances the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by enhancing global connectivity and elevating the travel experience for our guests.”
The integration aims to support Saudia’s growth ambitions while providing Travelport‑connected agencies with faster, more competitive retailing capabilities in a rapidly evolving distribution landscape.
